And here I thought that blogs were so 2008: Here come new challengers!
What's up world?
I've noticed that most of the blogs that I follow are starting to wind down. I mean the big blogs that are actually financially backed, or updated by multiple people are probably never going to die, but I mean blogs like mine; down home, single authored blogs about life and shit. Not even just car blogs, though, they are the ones I follow most, but also music blogs, food blogs, and art blogs. I know it seems sorta creepy, but I enjoy getting to know people that I don't even know, and probably will never meet from what they decide to share with the world.
Now, I'm not going to say that I'm the saint of keeping my blog updated. Hell, 2009 is when I started to actually pay attention to posting here, and I'm still not even a "regular" poster. but right when I think that blogs are a thing of the past, BAM! Some homies show up to save the day! New reading material y'all!
This is a blog following the automobiles owned by my friends Christine(Kuro) and Gene(Liquid), along with random automotive blurbs mostly about rotary powered cars, 370Z's, and the local Chicago car scene.
This isn't necessarily a blog per say, seeing as it is a page on facebook. BUT! It serves the same function as a car blog: following and documenting the progress/lifetime of an automobile. It's headed by Kristin, the owner of a Bathurst Black 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe (it's NOT A TIB). I find the facebook page platform is genius, everyone is on facebook basically, and if a friend is a fan of the page, it's really easy to just stumble upon it. So random people can just follow it. DOPE.
This is a most fresh-faced of the newcomers. Managed by Mykee and Kelly, this is more of an online magazine that features good clean cool cars, that have character. Hell, for being a day old, it almost has more content that matters than "Geeky LURV" does haha.
Here's to future cool stuff coming out of all blogs! CHEERS!

First my car got high, then, it got naked
Say hello to winter mode....
Notice the height... compare this to a pic later in this post to see the difference. But not only did I raise the car, but I also removed a majority of my stickers. Now that may not seem like such a big deal, but it actually very much is to me haha. I only kept the stickers that would be hard to get again, or really mean something. These are all the stickers I have removed. It was a smaller pile than I thought it would have been.
Though winter mode does bum me out, and already having parts for next season bums me out too, with so many plans actually coming into effect and starting to look like they really will happen, I'm getting really stoked on next season. So for this post, I will leave you with this, my current favorite picture of the car. Taken by a friend of mine, Anthony Galvez aka Tony Stark.
Goal for next season: retake this photo with a reason to have a larger smile on my face.
OH! And Just to let you know, I picked up a new hobby, biking.
Here is my fixie with a semi sorta sneak preview of an upcoming sticker.
Now I realize this new hobby won't do me much good during winter, but it is something that can help me get fit and stay fit. So I'm stoked on it.
